At the lateral end of the transverse cubital crease midway between LU 5 and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus.
What is the meaning of Quchi
- Quchi:”Qu”,refers to secretive,Chi,Pool.The name of Quchi means that the qi of this point is the dampness-qi above the ground. The substance of this acupoint comes from Shousanli acupoint. It is located on the upper part of the ground,like mist, which is secret water-qi, hence the name.
- Quchi: Qu, buckling. It is the combination of the large intestine meridian. When the Qi flows into this point,like water goes into the pool.On the other hand,when flexed elbow, and the cross-stranded head has a depression, like shallow pool, hence the name.
