What is the meaning of Futonggu
Futonggu:Fu,refers to the acupoint located on the abdomen. tong, refers to channel,gu,refers to valley,the depression between the two mountains. The name of “Futonggu” means that the Chongmai Qi of kidney channel cooling down into the water after absorbing heat are injected into the ground. The substance of this acupoint is the dampness-qi from the Yindu acupoint.After reaching the acupoint, it dissipates and cools down into water is injected into the ground from the ground pores of the acupoint,hence the name.
