CV 9 Acupuncture Point(Shuifeng),alias Fengshui,Zhongshou, belongs to Ren Channel,which is comonly used for abdominal pain, diarrhea, edema etc. Puncture 0.5 to 1 cun straight. Moxa moxibustion 5 to 7 unit; or moxa moxibustion 10 to 20 minutes.

What is the meaning of Shuifeng
Shuifeng,”Shui”water,refers to the ground water,”Feng”,Separation. The name of “Shuifeng” means that the ground water distribute here. The substance of this point are the cold drop meridian water from CV 8(Shenque) point and the ground meridian water from CV 10(Xiawan) point. After reaching this point,the ground water distribute here, hence the name.
